Nationals 2025

National Championships 2025

The Cloud Computing competition at SwissSkills 2025, also known as ICTskills2025, is the national championship for the best cloud talents in Switzerland. Qualified through the regional events, these competitors will now face off for the title of national champion and a chance to represent Switzerland at WorldSkills 2026 in Shanghai, China.

Competition Format

The competition is divided into two distinct parts:

  1. Infrastructure Task (5 hours):

    • A single, comprehensive task where competitors build and refine a cloud infrastructure over the course of the day.
    • Sub-points can be earned for partial completion, but all components are interconnected, requiring strategic planning and execution.
  2. Speed Challenge (1 hour 45 minutes):

    • Competitors will tackle as many small tasks as possible within the allotted time.
    • Each task is independent, allowing participants to focus on speed and accuracy.

The same online competition platform used during the 2024 and 2025 regionals will be used again. Competitors can expect the same format and structure, including access to live marking during both parts of the competition.

Rules and Guidelines

  • Internet Access: Free and unrestricted internet access is allowed during the competition. However, communication with other competitors or third parties is strictly prohibited.
  • AI Usage: The use of AI tools is strictly forbidden, including dedicated websites, editor integrations, or any other forms. Competitors must ensure that all AI tools are disabled before the competition starts. Note: The competition is BYOD (Bring Your Own Device).
  • Eligibility: Only those who have qualified through the regional championships in 2024 and 2025 are eligible to participate. Direct participation is not possible.
  • Platform Integrity: Any attempts to decompile, manipulate, or otherwise interfere with the competition platform or its marking system are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate exclusion from the competition.
